"Mother", real name unknown, was the wife Shuichiro Ayatsuki and the mother to Nine the Phantom and Celica A. Mercury. Her untimely death set the stage for Shuichiro's fall and his slip on sanity.

Appearance

Physically, "Mother" looks nearly identical to her daughter, Celica. She has long brown hair tied into a ponytail with a burgundy ribbon, pale skin, and dark purple eyes. She has only been seen wearing a cream colored dress that is cut above the breasts. Fastened to this with a golden button is a short black cape that covers her neck.

In all her appearances, she has been pregnant. Either with Nine or Celica.

Personality

Much like Celica, "Mother" is an empathetic and caring person. She tried hard to not worry Shuichiro with her abnormal pregnancies, and valued her daughter's lives above her own. Her caring and loving energy had a profound effect on her immediate family, and each of them dealt with the grief of her loss differently.
