Ignis Clover (イグニス＝クローバー) is the matriarch of the Clover family; the wife of Relius Clover and the mother of Ada and Carl Clover. Her soul is currently sealed within the Detonator - Fluctus Redactum: Ignis.
Appearance
Ignis is never seen as a human, only in her Detonator form.
The doll is 209cm in height with a large red dress and distinctly feminine appearance. Its gray face has piercing blue eyes with a singular crack over the left one - its face is framed with blonde hair and on top rests a round hat with an 'X' on the front. There are two rings piercing this hat and two large 'ears' come off it, dangling to the ground and filled with various weaponry. Ignis' arms have large rings around the shoulders and her hands are sharp blades.
Personality
Having only appeared when Relius demands, Ignis' personality is rarely shown. Within the Detonator, she is completely mute, and there has been an instance where she was shown to be independent of Relius' control, but she still came back to his side when asked.[1] Otherwise, she is completely loyal to her husband, and does not leave his side despite the acts he commits.
Powers and Techniques
Ignis' soul is strong enough to be the material for a Detonator, but otherwise, she is exceptionally strong within her current form.
In combat, Ignis' claws are its main purpose of fighting, and are launched quick enough to reach Rachel Alucard but lack the strength needed to match Valkenhayn R. Hellsing. [2] When paired with Nirvana, they form a duo that is highly difficult to defeat. [3] Like Minerva, Ignis' body can transform, with her arms being able to turn into drills and her 'ears' opening up to reveal various weapons.
