Homura Amanohokosaka (ホムラ＝アマノホコサカ, 天ノ矛坂 焔 Homura=Amanohokosaka, Amanohokosaka Homura) is the current Imperator Librarius of the Novus Orbis Librarium, and the child of a previous Imperator, Tenjo Amanohokosaka.
Homura first debuted as an NPC in BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma. They were revealed for BlazBlue Alternative: Dark War on the 27th of October, 2021.
Appearance
Homura is a young effeminate, yet androgynous human. He has knee-long brown hair, amber eyes, and a pale complexion; on Homura's forehead, there is a small red mark. They wear a highly stylised orange and white sokutai that stops high up on their thighs with small golden ornaments hanging at the rims, and is tied to his waist with a white bow; a red scarf is tied around their collar. A tall black hat sits upon Homura's head that has intricate golden details near its base, and they wear orange platforms over long white socks. According to their mother, Homura inherited their father's hair colour.[1]

Trivia
- In the BlazBlue 10th Anniversary Character Poll, Homura placed 55th out of the 84 candidates. They scored one place above Clavis Alucard and one place below The One. They had 79 votes.
- Homura's sex is never disclosed in the Japanese version of the games. However, the English version uses the pronouns 'he/him/his' when referring to Homura.
- Homura shares their Japanese voice actress, MINASE Inori, with Tenjo and Mei Amanohokosaka.
- Despite being an important character in BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, Homura does not speak nor have a story sprite in BlazBlue: Central Fiction. In an interview with creator MORI Toshimichi in the BlazBlue: Central Fiction Official Setting Material Collection, he stated that the majority of Homura's scenes were cut from the game, and that they were to have a larger role in the story. These scenes would have included expanding on their relationship with Kagura and Tenjo.[6]
