Haruka lives in [[Shin Kawahama City]] with her mother, Yuki, and was raised solely by her mother. Growing up, she was very close to her cousin, Naoto, and they would spend a lot of time together. Naoto's family was killed by Saya, his younger sister, and Saya was sent to the main [[Amanohokosaka Clan]] household. Naoto came to live with Haruka and the two grew closer. Naoto eventually moved out to an apartment owned by Yuki and Haruka got into the routine of visiting him every day before and after school. Haruka also joined the Student Council and became friends with [[Kana Kirishima]], the Vice-President.

In October, Haruka woke Naoto up before school began and teased him about the dating simulator games he had been playing. They walked to school together and sat in the homeroom. She had Geography later that day with [[Tadayuki Isa]], and told Naoto that she thought he was acting weird. Haruka Hayami (早見ハルカ) is the cousin of Naoto Kurogane and Saya Terumi, and the daughter of Yuki Hayami. She is a member of Shin Kawahama First High School's Student Council and is Naoto's childhood best friend; she is also romantically interested in him. Although she can be silly, Haruka is the one person that keeps Naoto calm. Her life-force value hovers around 10,500.

Haruka appears as a supporting character in BlazBlue: Bloodedge Experience - Part 1 and BlazBlue: Bloodedge Experience - Part 2.

Haruka is a teenage girl with pale skin, green eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. When at school, she wears the uniform which consists of a white blouse, sailor-style collar, black skirt with white ruffles, and black tights with simple shoes. Haruka also wears a metal hair clip which keeps her long hair up in a bun, and a green hair clip over one of her bangs.

Casually, Haruka wears a green dress with puffy sleeves that end at the elbow. Over this she wears a pink corset. Under her dress are black yoga pants. Haruka keeps her hair down in this attire, and also wears open-toed high heels and carries a brown handbag. Haruka's pyjamas are pink with white polka dots, and she wears a matching nightcap.

Personality

Bright and cheerful at all times. Haruka is usually happy and always willing to talk to someone, especially Naoto. She has no problem waking up early every day to wake him up and cook for him. Haruka takes her position on the Student Council rather seriously, and will dedicate her free time after school hours on a project that's needed. She seems to excel in her studies, yet can be rather silly at times.

She cares greatly for Naoto and will go greatly out of her way to help him. Her feelings for him are romantic and she desperately wants him to make a romantic move towards her.
