Snow Town (スノータウン) is the thirteenth block of the 9th Hierarchical City of Akitsu-Kou. It was introduced as a playable stage in BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma.

Information

A town that experienced an extreme environmental change due to a raid that was done by Ragna the Bloodedge on Akitsu-Kou's cauldron. With the cauldron dead and the flow of seithr from the Novus Orbis Librarium branch being halted, the weather control device broke down, leading to the city returning to its naturally snowing environment.

In the February of 2200, Jin Kisaragi travelled to Snow Town, and was found by Hibiki Kohaku, who asked him to come to the 6th Hierarchical City of Yabiko to reunite with Kagura Mutsuki. Refusing, Jin travelled to the dead cauldron and found Relius Clover - the two battled to a stalemate.[1] Days later, Jin returned to the area, using the Power of Order to compel Hakumen to meet him. The two's battle to allow Jin to further understand Hakumen's identity as well as the Sealed Weapon Izayoi.[2]

Snow Town is, as its name suggests, drowned in snow. Small wood and brick houses sit in the background, their interiors glowing with a warm light; the snow has blocked the chimneys. Various pine trees stand tall with snow decorating their branches, while various igloo-like turrets tower above the houses nearby. Snowmen, street lights, and various penguin beastkin are all found, with the beastkin children having a snowball fight. An aurora far above in the sky illuminates the town below.

In gameplay, the character's movements remove the snow underneath them, making it clear to see where each character has been on the ground throughout the match.
