The sewers are in a desperate and disgusting state. The first part of Area 28 is illuminated by an azure light from below the floor, which is stained with an unknown substance. Columns, railings and sewer pipes are destroyed across the area, giving the impression that the area is dire need of repairs. Behind a broken pillar is a large spherical mass of flesh that pulsates throughout a match. The second part of this area bathes in an orange glow that emits from a group of vines attached to another spherical mass of flesh. The dirty area around here is littered with rusting pipes and metalwork. Grated walkways and destroyed columns litter this area, while the surviving sewer pipes have unknown organisms stuck to their exterior.

Area

Area 28 is the twenty-eighth area of the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. This area is part of the sewers of Kagutsuchi, and has become the lair of Arakune as he hides from society and hunts the Kaka.

Information

Hidden in the depths of Kagutsuchi, this area is not normally accessed by the public since it is part of its sewer. After escaping from Sector Seven, Arakune made this place his home. The sewers connect to Lost Town, the home of the Kaka, and the Novus Orbis Librarium branch in Kagutsuchi. Ragna the Bloodedge was forced to go through Area 28 in order to evade the NOL and battled Arakune here. He was nearly successful, but the creature was saved by Litchi Faye-Ling.[1]

This location was remade within the Embryo. Noel Vermillion accidentally entered this area and was attacked by Arakune until she was saved by Ragna.[2] Litchi attempted to find Arakune here, but the monster did not assault her out of fear of her power that she streamed from the Boundary through Lao Jiu.[3]

The sewers are in a desperate and disgusting state. The first part of Area 28 is illuminated by an azure light from below the floor, which is stained with an unknown substance.
