Aim to "nullify" attacks and counterattack! A ninja master who combines skill and power!! [1]

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

Although he bears the speed particular of a ninja, his normal attacks are heavy and slow. The special kunai that he throws while airborne will stop the opponent's movements, and have applying poison as a side effect. His Drive attack will nullify the opponent's attacks and perform a counterattack while lighting up "Wind" (風), "Forest" (林), "Fire" (火), and "Mountain" (山) icons to unlock access to a skill that dramatically increases his own powers.[1]

Notes

  • In the Japanese names for Secret Technique: "Fatal Eruption" and Shishigami-style Forbidden Art: "Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan," Shishigami and Bang are written in kanji. Shishigami (獅子神) uses the characters for "tiger god," while Bang (萬駆) uses the characters for "ten-thousand" and "(to) inspire."
  • Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan (風林火山), or literally "Wind-Forest-Fire-Mountains," is a Japanese idiom taken from Sun Tzu's Art of War, which directs one to "Let your rapidity be that of the wind, your gentleness that of the forest / In raiding and plundering be like fire, be immovable like a mountain"
