Strategy

Bang has many standard, easy-to-use moves, but also boasts some tricky attacks tied to Set Nail. He is recommended for anyone from beginners to experts.

When mid-range from an opponent, Dash into a Standing A or Standing B. When trying to close the gap from midair, using a midair dash then Jumping B or Jumping ↓ + C is effective. If you throw Bang-style Shuriken, then chase it witha dash, you can use the projectile as a shield for as safer approach. If the opponent has strong projectiles, use the various D guard points to stop them, then use Secret Art: Bang's Shadowstep Jutsu to close the distance.

Once near the opponent, break through their guard by using middle and low attacks. Low attacks include Crouching A, → + A, and Crouching C. Middle attacks like Standing C and → + B are recommended. Against an opponent with a strong guard, a throw like Bang's Void Tempest Kick is effective. Go for it by dashing after Standing A, Crouching A, and jump attacks.

When the opponent pressures you, use the guard points of various D attacks. If you can activate Secret Technique: Bang's Pulverizing Blast Jutsu, you can on the offense even if blocked. The timing and type of attack blockable with each D attack's guard point differs. Once you're able to select them based on your opponent's tactics and habits, you can call yourself a first-rate ninja.[1]
