The Hazuki family is the eighth family in the Duodecim. They value power above all else and live in the 11th Hierarchical City of Shinatsu.

Houichirou Hazuki is the current patriarch, and the Kirihito's are their branch family.

Information

One of the Duodecim, the Hazuki's are the eighth family. Like the other Duodecim, there are rules, traditions, and values unique to them, but the quality they value most is pure power. The current patriarch, Houichirou, is a man of incredible power who values it above all else. Familial bonds within the house are not traditional as the patriarch's pursuit of strength for his house causes him to issue constant exercises for his daughter, Mai Natsume. Chiefly, this included siccing two assassins on her during her days in the Military Academy. There is, to some extent, a degree of love between the family members. How they interact with the other Duodecim is unknown.

Within the family, Rin Hazuki, the current matriarch, is a rare Vision user, contributing to the family's value of power. The family owns a sizeable estate that includes a large manor and training grounds suspended over a river. The Hazuki's also employ at least four maids to tend to their family home.

The Kirihito's are the Hazuki's branch family and like the Mustuki's Kohaku family, they are trained in assassination techniques. The branch family trains their members at a young age and uses harsh regimes to create perfect killers who employ poisons designed to create amnesia in targets. Hazuki members are also subjected to the same training and receive tuition in the Kirihito's fighting style. The family have also hired assassins in the past, including Chachakaka.

Of the Duodecim, the Hazuki's were the last to be asked to join Kagura Mutsuki's rebellion in overthrowing Izanami and restoring Homura Amanohokosaka to the throne.
