Strategy

Known on the streets as the Grim Reaper and an SS-class traitor, the one in possession of the most powerful grimoire with the highest-ever bounty in history on his head.
With a long reach and high offensive power, his ability to charge straight in is powerful! His Drive's ability, Soul Eater, will absorb the opponents' health!^[2]

	Ragna kicks once, slashes downward with his sword, performs a two-hit upwards strike with his sword, and finishes with an overhead that steals life.

	Ragna punches high into the air, performs two strikes with his sword, dashes forward, and grabs the opponent into a punch as a finisher.
Smart Combo 3	Midair A · A
	Ragna hits the opponent with a downward strike from his sword, then kicks them.

Reversal Action
Inferno Divider インフェルノディバイダー Inferuno Dibaidā	A · D simultaneously (midair also)
	Ragna jumps, striking the opponent into the air with an upward swing from his sword.

	Ragna follows up with an upward punch.
→→ Ax Kick 踵落とし Kakato Otoshi	A or B or C during Uppercut
	Ragna kicks the opponent to the ground.
Skill
Dead Spike デッドスパイク Deddo Supaiku	↓↘→ + A or B
	Ragna sends a black wave towards the opponent. The A version appears right in front of Ragna, pointed upward at a sharp angle. The B version lunges in front of Ragna, traveling about half the screen before disappearing.
Hell's Fang ヘルズファング Heruzu Fangu	←↙↓ + A
	Ragna dashes across 3/4ths of the screen with a punch.
→ Additional Attack	A or B or C during Hell's Fang
	Ragna follows up with an upward punch that absorbs life. All three versions do the same amount of damage.
Gauntlet Hades ガントレットハーデス Gantoretto Hādesu	←↙↓ + B (midair also)
	Hits high. Gauntlet Hades is a high attack. Use it against a crouching opponent.^[3] Ragna leaps across half the screen in an overhead kick.
→ Spin Kick 蹴り上げ Keriage	A or B or C during Gauntlet Hades
	Ragna performs a followup kick. All three versions deal the same amount of damage.
Nightmare Edge ナイトメアエッジ Naitomea Ejji	Midair ←↙↓ + A
	Ragna drags his sword downwards, dealing a series of attacks.
→ Additional Attack	A or B or C during Nightmare Edge
	Steals life.

EX Dead Spike EX デッドスパイク EX Deddo Supaiku	↓↘→ + C
	A larger and quicker version of the A version of Dead Spike is called out in front of Ragna.

	Ragna punches across him with black energy in tow, the energy reaching diagonally across the screen. It wall-bounces the opponent if hit.

	Ragna follows up with a large crescent of energy from his sword that reaches about half the screen.
Blood Scythe ブラッドサイズ Buraddo Saizu	←↙↓ + C (midair also)
	Ragna jumps forward half the screen, bringing his sword over his head in scythe form.
Distortion Skill (Takes 2 skill gauge)
Carnage Scissors カーネージシザー Kānēji Shizā	↓↘→ + B · C simultaneously
	You become invulnerable at the start of the action. Ragna crosses the screen, clawing the opponent into the air.
Devoured by Darkness 闇に食われろ Yami ni Kuwarero	←↙↓ + B · C simultaneously
	You become invulnerable at the start of the action. Devoured by Darkness is a Distortion Skill that absorbs a large amount of health when it hits. It is very helpful when you are at low health.^[3] Ragna reaches in front of him to grab the opponent and drain their health. Ragna needs to be closer than 1/4th of the screen for the distortion to hit, and upon finishing the animation, he is pushed backwards a little.

Astral Heat
Black Onslaught	↓↓↓ + B · C simultaneously (during Lv4 Resonance Blaze)
	You become invulnerable at the start of the action.[Requirements] In order to activate, you must have Resonance Blaze active (Lv 4), have 9 Skill Gauges at time of activation, and the opponent must be down to one character.

Combos

[Soul Eater] Some of Ragna's attacks will absorb the opponent's health on hit or block. ... If you see energy emerge from the damaged opponent and flow toward Ragna, you've successfully absorbed health.^[3]
- Some of these include Smart Combo 1, Crouching C, Jumping B, Inferno Divider, Dead Spike, and the additional attack of Hell's Fang.
