A Binding Array is a type of Ars Magus that is used to restrict opponents. Both the Novus Orbis Librarium and Vigilantes use this Ars to apprehend and constrict criminals.[1]

During the Battle of Ragna the Bloodedge, Ragna the Bloodedge was detained with a binding array according to Kagura Mutsuki. When Tsubaki Yayoi asked about the type of binding array, Kagura revealed that the Ars changed its code every 10 seconds and that a petrification cockatrice array had also been placed, meaning that Ragna's body would turn to stone if he was 100 meters away from the Colosseum.[2]
