Notes
霞二段 (Kasumi Nidan) comes from 霞二段斬り (Kasumi Ni Dan Giri / Cutting Through the Mist in Two Steps) from the Romancing Saga games.
心刀合一 (Shintou Goitsu) is normally written as 心刃合一, (Shinba Goitsu), The change in kanji is likely to make a pun with the homophone 神道合一 (Shintou Goitsu) "Together with the Path of the Gods", likely to be a reference to her divine lineage. As such, I opted for "Spirit" as the reading of 心 rather than Heart or Mind (all three are commonly used to translate this idiom.)
藤霞(Fujigasumi) as Wisterian Haze - It's a specific Japanese term based on when wisteria is blooming so thickly that it looks like an indistinguishable haze.
山神 as Sanshin and not Yamagami- Because Samurai Bushido code is primarily based on Zen Buddhism and less on Shinto Mythology, I opted for this reading. Another precedent for this is Hakaishin being used for Susano'o, when it's normally used as Japanese epithet for Shiva.
霊魂(Reikon) as Ātman Attā - Another Buddhist term, meaning Soul-Self, which fits more with the distinction of 霊魂 vs 霊 or 魂 on their own.
藤霞 as "Darkest Night" and not "Darkest Black". I figured this was another Super Famicom game reference, specifically to "Summon Darkness" from Tactics Ogre, so I matched the localization here.
