Overview
Hibiki is BlazBlue Entropy Effect's resident Ninja-esque character. With rapid attacks, fast movement, two swords, and additional attacks with his clones, Hibiki is here to dish out high damage quickly up close and from afar. Prioritizing dealing damage from behind will help you capitalize on his damage.
Prototype Abilities
Talent: The Way of Assassination
Attacking enemies from behind will increase the Attacks base damage by +100%. Hibiki's Talent, while difficult to use on other characters, allows Hibiki or the Prototype inheriting it to deal more damage when attacking from behind. With Hibiki's ability to turn enemies around with his [Ground] Attack combo or Heavy Strike, he is able to capitalize on this buff more than anyone else. Additionally, the clones from Endlos Lace have the ability to be upgraded so that they automatically attack from behind, guaranteeing the additional damage.
Legacy Skill 1: Splitting Glaives
Releases several glaives around your Prototype. One enemy can be hit at max 4 times by the blades. Damage and number of hits increases with each level. Essentially the same as Hibiki's Skill, several glaives are summoned around you. As far as Legacy Skills go, it acts as a quick get off me tool that deals enough damage to stagger enemies.
Legacy Skill 2: Cover of Darkness
Puts your Prototype in the "Stealth and Haste" state for 8 seconds. The first attack in this state will trigger a surprise attack. Damage of the surprise attack increases with each level. Activating this Legacy Skill makes your Prototype temporarily undetectable while increasing your movement speed. Enemies will randomly attack at nothing or will stop attacking entirely while this is active. The in-game description is very ambiguous about what the surprise attack's damage is based off of. As of now, we know that it at least deals more damage the closer you are to the enemy. Its damage is always pitifully low however and struggles to be worth it aside for a 8 second long break to reposition.
