A normal playthrough of BlazBlue Entropy Effect will have you fighting against the many bosses, also called Elites, that you can encounter in the multiple modes. Bosses sit at the end of each Stage and stand to provide as a checkpoint between you and the next Stage. Boasting a large amount of health, complex move sets, and unique mechanics, each boss requires you to learn their patterns to avoid an early trip back to NEO.
Each stage has a 50/50 chance for 1 of 2 bosses in that area. Stage 1 has the Watcher and the Sweeper, Stage 2 the Sand Serpent and the Tree of Origin, Stage 3 the Defiling Eye and Arakune, and Stage 4 with Nan-Fire Bite and Oread. Stage 5, the Omega Space will give you the opportunity to fight 3 more bosses for a bonus chance for more Potentials. 2 of those boss fights have the chance to be any of the bosses from previous stages that you did not fight or two new bosses, the Floating Mind and Nan-01. If your Evotype score has reached 1600, then you will have the chance to fight Reki, an extremely difficult boss fight that provides a significant challenge for even the best ACERs. Whether you choose to fight the additional bosses or not, the final boss will always be Susano'o who is no pushover either. Take the time to learn the bosses you're struggling with. Chances are that you're missing critical information to take on that boss.
