Strategy
Nu is a long range specialist, and the majority of her attacks are projectiles. She has plenty of options to keep the opponent from getting clsoe, allowing you to fight at your own pace from a distance.
At mid-long range, use various D attacks to keep the opponent away. Use Standing D against an opponent on the ground, and Crouching D or → + D against one in the air to control space. You generally want to combo up to the additional D attacks. From Standing D → additional D, you have a choice of medium attack ← + D or low attacks Sickle Storm. The latter has versions where D is charged, and spawned with C, and this changes up the timing.
Against quick dashing opponents, combo various D attacks into Gravity Seed to slow them down. You can further combo this into a backwards Act Parcer to regain distance. If the opponent has a solid guard, use a forward Act Parcer and go for a normal throw. At close range, use → + A, Crouching C, or other jump cancellable attacks, then right after a jump use Crescent Saber and ↘ + C to shake up their guard.
For opponents who attack from the air with jumps or aerial dashes, if you have some distance, use Crouching D and → + D to counter. If they're close, use → + A, which provides immunity to high attacks. When the opponent manages to get into close range with you, Nu will have a hard time as she lacks invincibility moves. Use barrier or Counter Assault to regain some distance.[1]
