For a list of incomplete gameplay pages, please see Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Gameplay Stub

This is a guide for making a gameplay page for a character. Details about each section follow below.

General Notes

  • PAGE NAME: Create the page as a subpage to the character's gameplay page: e.g. Ragna the Bloodedge/Gameplay/BBTAG.
    • Use the game's official abbreviation (BBCT, BBCS, BBCP, BBCPEX, BBCF, BBTAG, etc.) to create a more readable page name and shorter link
  • In the generated boilerplate text:
    • Don't forget to replace Ragna the Bloodedge with the name of the character the page is being created for.
    • In the case of the Murakumo units, whose display name is different from their base page name, use {{Character Tabs|Λ-No.11-|Lambda-11}} where: Λ-No.11- is the name of her main overview page and Lambda-11 is the name that her subpages are on (Lambda-11/Gameplay, etc)

Templates

Gameplay Stub

{{Gameplay Stub}} marks the page incomplete.

100% complete

Backlog: Gameplay Stub
Goal: 0 articles
Current: 0 articles
Initial: 500 articles

Statistics automatically update (refresh).

Character Tabs

Character Tabs at the top of the page provide navigation between subpages for the character.

Quote

Filling out {{Quote|}} is optional. It's fine to leave it blank on the page.

Typically, it is a single introductory quote for the character. When possible, include its origin in a reference.

Page Sections

Strategy

The strategy section includes general details about how the character plays. In general the Strategy section for the character's specific in-game tutorial is a good starting point. Place details from the game's in-game tutorial inside the blockquote and add a reference at the end.

For example:

<ref>''BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Tutorial Mode, Character Specifics, Ragna the Bloodedge, Lesson 03: Strategy Lessons''</ref>

Command List

Different templates should be used depending on the game.

BBCT - BBCF
Main article: Template:Command List

The C-series share one command list format, and therefore one template.

Combos

<tabs plain>

</tab>
<tab name="In-Game Notation">

</tab>
</tabs>
-->

Uncomment this section if there are any combos you want to fill in. Shown above, the Tactics Mode combos are recorded in both numpad notation and in-game notation in separate tabs. Place combos after each # to form a numbered list.

Palettes

Palettes are numbered with leading zeroes (01, instead of 1). Identify references in the caption after the palette number and a <br>. For character references, have the character name be followed by their source material in parentheses.

Notes

Add notes about command lists or clarifications about voice actor references for palette references here. For example,

===Palettes===
*'''Color palette 6:''' Tomokazu Sugita also voices Sakata Gintoki, the protagonist of the comedy series ''Gin Tama''
